Just curious...
To those people who read this blog regularly, do you subscribe to a feed to grab new posts or do you visit this url and see the blog that way? I always go blog visiting from my sidebar links, because I always think of a blog as a 'work' or as a 'whole'. How about you? Maybe I should use RSS feeds? What's a good reader to use? Even though a lot of people I know and work with never even visit blogs at all, I still sometimes feel like I walked in from the stone-age.

Well, I just go to blogs, but recently I added you to some kind of feed at Facebook. So now when you make a new post it shows up on my Facebook page.
Oh and a new headline for Amy is "Amy's New Year's resolution is "don't die".
I use my side bar. I find a blog I like and link it. Haven't a clue what an RSS feed is.
I use Bloglines which is an web based RSS reader.

I'm really in the stone age as I still don't know how to make blog-links in my sidebar. I just have my favorite bloggers bookmarked and visit that way.

We don't use an RRS feed partly out of laziness about setting it up but more about the fact that our animated GIFs will not display properly on an RRS feed.(because we use a lot of HTML to construct them) So I wouldn't even bother with RRS feeds from the other art sites I go to.
b/t/w the Blogger function that allows an non-Blogger member to include their URL is back. Was that a setting that you controlled or was that a preset from Google to manipulate commenters into getting a Google account?

I don't understand the whole RSS thingy so yep, I'm behind the times. I have a list of favourites on my computer and that's what I use when I visit.
LM....it was not a setting I controlled in any way...I guess it was the folks at Google.

I use my side bar. When I had the stalker, a friend of mine warned me about "feeds" - that they are very easy to "trace," so I sort of crossed them (feeds) off my list. It doesn't take a lot out there in blogland for some crazy person to get mad enough to make you and your readers miserable for a while.
Perhaps a feed is the best way, I don't know. I have browsed Blogspot, (rarely) but have run across some weird stuff and never met a reciprocal blogger through the browsing.

I use my sidebar for your blog because you write everyday. For blogs that only write once in a while I use the feed.
