Looking at Vista, I'm glad I run a Mac
It looks to me like the new Vista operating system from Microsoft is an expensive nightmare. This site suggests you need to have a gig of RAM to reasonably run it - and 2 gigs is better.
Perhaps if I was running a small city, I could see it....
Meanwhile, my Mac should keep me happy on the computer front for another few years, no problem (true, I'm neither a gamer nor a movie downloader...).

I agree it's madness to consider anything from microsoft as an option to macs. Vista sounds like major overkill.
I sooooo wish I could afford a Mac. A decent Dell is almost half the price, though! WHY?
