Busking in the heat....

I played button box down at St. Lawrence Market for close to three hours - it got really, really hot. I had fun though, and did OK. I tried out a new concoction - a strange combination of a Scandinavian Waltz and The Black Velvet Band - as well as the usual tour of the world combo platter I serve up. There was a little kid there - he must have just learned to walk he was so little - who was transfixed by the music. I let him press some buttons as I pulled open the bellows, and he clapped with pure joy. Kids are so open, so "here now".
