Releasing books into the wild

For some time I've been considering releasing some books into the wild using BookCrossing. I printed off some labels and registered a bunch of books with BookCrossing ID numbers, and went for a bike ride, releasing the books at various points along my ride.

If somebody picks up one of the books, the label directs them to the BookCrossing site and asks that the finder make an entry indicating the book has been picked up. The idea is to track books as they travel around the universe.

I took some pictures of my releases.
