Adding the tomato juice
Here, I've filled the roaster with cabbage rolls and I'm adding the tomato juice. The salt pork I bought today had quite a bit of meat on it (unusual), so I kept it in bigger than normal chunks when I rendered it. You can see those chunks in amongst the cabbage rolls. After this step, I cover the whole business with pork ribs.
They're in the oven right now, and I'll be testing one at about 11:00 tonight.
