Thinking about Clifton Chenier.

Whooooooeeeee. Thankyou, thankyou, Mr. Anchovy for locating these clips and throwing them up here. I will not even attempt to describe my emotions on seeing them.
Uncle Steve
Hey Uncle Steve. I'm really glad you enjoyed the clips, and that you took the trouble to let me know.
Clifton Chenier was a remarkable performer. He had a fantastic musical vision, and he was able to grab hold of some traditional elements and run with them, creating a rich and unique body of work.
I periodically post video clips on this blog of music that turns my crank. My readership thankfully mostly humours me and puts up with it. Come back anytime.
cheers.
