I guess the Fort Winfield Scott, The Presidio in North Beach California. The date has something to do with the Beat Generation, so for the person I guess Allen Ginsberg and the date, October 7, 1955, the reading of The Howl. Something is wrong in all of this though because he read it at the Six Gallery, but maybe someone else can figure out the California beat generation connection and come up with a locale. It sure looks like an army barracks.
Muppie
Holy cow...is it possible that is correct?
I waas thinking Stomping Tom or something.
Dear Muppie,
Holy Cow is right. I love your answer. It isn't even close to the actual answer, but still, it's beautiful.
I fear my clues have led you astray, Muppie. Back to the drawing board.
