This is the late great Handsome Ned. Watching Ned play and listening to him perform - solo or with one of his various bands - was always a gas. We really lost a shining star when he checked out way back in 87.

Alright, I'm a new fan.
His death was related to his heroin use, four dinners. I recall very clearly word of his passing spreading across the Queen West neighbourhood. He was a very popular local figure, and also had a radio show on a college radio station - The Honky-Tonk Hardwood Floor Show
heroin's a bitch. Lost a few mates that way. Daft sods.
