Lansdowne residents sue city

A group of about 25 residents are suing the city of Toronto over the narrowing of Lansdowne Ave. I drove past there this evening. You can see where they started cutting down the mature, 35 year old trees. Residents have taped signs to the trees: why do I have to die? Residents are upset because of the refusal of Giamrone and Council to properly consult. City Council apparently took a vote on whether or not to consult, and the no side narrowly won the vote.
