Fathers Day

We spent the day with Tuffy's dad, her brother and their family at Tuffy's dad's cottage in the Kawarthas. What a lovely day to hang out, clean out some weeds from the gardens, and enjoy a relaxing family bbq.

We just got home to a house full of hungry cats. While I was away, Tuffy procured a copy of Prime Suspect season 5. Tonight, we're going to put our feet up and watch an episode or two.

By the way, I started a new book - Midnight at the Dragon Cafe, by Judy Fong-Bates. It's about a young girl growing up in the Chinese/Canadian food restaurant her parents run in a rural Ontario town. Promising so far.
