they're going to be hung somewhere in the garden....and Tuffy says there are going to be more! They started with plywood and used an acrylic based tile cement. Materials were a whole grab-bag of stuff including sea shells and Twiggy's food bowl and other stuff Tuffy has been saving. Normally grouting would be the next step - but that may be a challenge because of all the different heights of the tiles and shells and whatnot. The edges of the plywood will be sealed with white glue.
I love mosaics in the garden. At our last home we applied mosaics made of tiles, broken china, and found objects to all the posts that held up the patio roof. Sadly we couldn't take the posts with us.
It'd be great to see some pictures once they're up. And how about that stone path too? Am I too demanding?

I'll be excited to see where you end up placing the mosaics. They are very nice - pretty Tuffy P!
Those are really cool.
Are you hanging them or placing them on the path?
These are fantastic! Would you mind sharing the materials they used? I'd love to try this at home.
