This is Rossi and he wants to live here

A young tom has been hanging about, giving us his best sales pitch for a home. Wherever we turn, there he is. Meow? We think his father is the grand old tom of the hood, Archie, as they have identical markings and Archie has been by a few times to visit this young cat. Tuffy calls this one Rossi.... at first she was calling him Always be Closing, and when I asked, she explained, he's always closing the deal, always trying to get himself adopted....always be closing. Remember Glengarry Glen Ross?

"(Blake flips over a blackboard which has two sets of letters on it: ABC, and AIDA.)

(He's holding two brass balls on string, over the appropriate "area"--he puts them away after a pause)

If not you're going to be shining my shoes. Bunch of losers sitting around in a bar. (in a mocking weak voice) "Oh yeah, I used to be a salesman, it's a tough racket." (he takes out large stack of red index cards tied together with string from his briefcase) These are the new leads. These are the Glengarry leads. And to you, they're gold. And you don't get them. Because to give them to you is just throwing them away. (he hands the stack to Williamson) They're for closers.

So Tuffy has called this cat Rossi, after Glengarry Glen Ross. If he keeps trying to close the deal, pretty soon we'll have him at the vet for a checkup.....
