The front garden is starting to come into its own. Soon the peonies will be blooming!!

mister anchovy said...: Thank you Diana. There are a number of people on our street who really work at making their front gardens interesting, and lots of people who don't too. When we moved in, there was lawn and the umbrella katelpa and not much else. I don't much like lawns, so I took it out and started planting various perennials. Some things work better in there than others, but overall we like the front jungle quite a bit.; 10:48 p.m.

Gardenia said...: Beautiful, well done - like a Garden of Eden...........I am inundated by weeds I can't get to......sigh! Lawn is a good defense against others in the households who hate to garden!
