mister anchovy said...: sp, you have good ears. Yes, the clacking sound is happening when the buttons are fully depressed, thus fully opening the valves. I was having a major clicking problem on my 3 row box. When I opened up the button board, I realized that the layer of felt cushioning the bottom of the mechanism had totally worn through. I replace the felt with some thicker stuff and actually improved the action along the way. The clicking on this fellows box is fairly minor and I would say normal. After all, these are mechanical as opposed to electronic machines.; 10:12 p.m.
