Paska
Every year before Easter, Tuffy P bakes paska - Ukrainian Easter Bread. She makes lots and we give it away to our friends. This is the experiment batch. "Needs more lemon", she says. As Utah Phillips says, "It's good, though." Purists may complain that we have dispensed with the dough cross and decorations on top, and we make no excuses. Tuffy makes it the way her mom made it, and that's the best way - any old fool knows that!

They indeed look yummy. I remember something my Gram used to make for easter, I think she called it "Italian Easter Bread" ... it was like a multilayered bread - dough, cheese, egg, various meats, more cheese, dough, etc etc - Other folks I've spoken to say they've had it but the name I know it by is incorrect, but anyhow - Easter definitely brings out some cool breads.
