Colour and brain function

If a new study is any guide, the color red can make people’s work more accurate, and blue can make people more creative.

Interesting. We've long thought people react in particular ways to different colours. Why else would so many restaurants be red? But can colour influence performance?

What if you're colour blind? Would the colour affect you anyway even though you couldn't perceive the colour?

I wouldn't be surprised to find that colour can affect performance as it certainly affects mood, and the two are often linked.

Colour blind people see a much lesser distinction among colours, so I would expect they are less affected by change in colour. Just surmising, though.

Whoa! wv is "redder", I kid you not.

I remember in a Nic Roeg movie "Bad Timing" had a color test thing...a psychological thing...in a psychological susense movie.

Here is the color test online:

Oliver Sacks has a lot to say on this subject.

We're about to get the Gimcrack interior repainted starting tomorrow. Unfortunately neither blue nor red were options.....
