Ivo Papazov and his Wedding Band

Clarinetist Ivo Papazov is one of the three primary creators of that curious genre of Bulgarian Gypsy music known as "wedding band music", along with accordionist Neshko Neshev and sax-man Yuri Yunakov. Last year, we saw Yuri Yunakov and his ensemble perform at the International Accordion Festival down in San Antonio. This music is intense, improvisational and a lot of fun.
