This amazing band is coming to town!! We're going to see them at Hugh's Room on January 29, and I can't wait.

mister anchovy said...: One of the interesting things about this music is that it is a thread in American musical history that almost disappeared, usurped by the blues. Carolina Chocolate Drops are learning from one of the last guys around playing this old African-American stringband music, a fiddler in his late 80s.; 1:15 p.m.
