Mould enveloping cave paintings?
Thanks East Texas Red for sending me the link to this article about grey and black mould destroying the cave paintings at Lascaux, the so-called "Sistine Chapel of Prehistory". It seems an air circulation system, installed to protect the images, may be to blame.
