Hey, what's going on over here?
I mentioned a week or so ago that I wanted to introduce some new voices to this little island. Hence, the name change from mister anchovy to mister anchovy's. It turns out that there are a few folks out there in blogland who are interested in contributing some posts. There isn't really any structure around this. As it develops, some contributors will post from time-to-time, and others may post all-the-time. No rulebook. It's hard to say what will happen along the way.
Once the blogger 'widget' decides to allow me to add a new page element (see post below...it has been behaving inconsistently), I'll add a list of contributors with links to the side bar, so you know who is coming and going. As well, there is an identifier on each post, so you know who is posting what.
The first person to venture forth into anchovy-world is Ærchie from Archie's Archive, The Curmudgeon’s Magazine. I've only been following his blog for a short while, but I find myself drawn back there regularly. Check it out. Readers can expect to see a first post over here by Ærchie soon, and future posts, whenever he feels the urge.
Watch for other new contributors soon.

I think I am now logged in, and I am just waiting for the word before I begin to clutter up your blog :)
I really like the new banner, and your rock gardens are wonderful.
Muppie
Archie.....post away!
I think that some have dropped off because of summer. I like your format, the easy chat, the cats, local blurbs, the fishing news, the gardening (inspires me), and you've turned me on to many musicians that have given me much pleasure since, including polka and an appreciation for the accordian. I would miss that very much if you changed the format. Just my input, that's all.
A community type format sounds intriguing, but can we keep the regular one as well?
Figured out I think how to tweak the banner. If you want help let me know - I too am using Photoshop......Do you know how to change text colors in the new format?
Hi Gardenia,
I appreciate your feedback, and I'm glad you've enjoyed hangin around this joint. I don't think you will see too much difference in what I post in the future from what I've posted in the past. I hope though, that some additional content that doesn't come out of this particular little brain will take the blog to places I wouldn't be able to get to on my own.
It is important for me to take risks from time to time. It's no different in my painting. The day I feel that I can easily make a new group of works based on previous work is the day I abandon that line of thought and find a different way to go. In spite of that, in the fullness of time, it is so clear that the quantum leaps I thought I was making were in fact the tiniest of baby steps. C'est la vie, eh? In the studio, I'm always thinking, how did I get there, how did I make this painting? I need to surf that edge, and I have a restless imagination.
And so, mister anchovy becomes mister anchovy's and we'll see what happens. I might lose some readers;I might gain some readers. The joint won't be what it was, but it won't be unrecognizable. So far, nobody has emailed me saying, sign me up, I'm going to kick your ass (yet). So, I say: sit back and enjoy whatever happens.
cheers.
