Busking

I've been putting together a button accordion set to do some busking. My plan is to busk to raise enough coin for a new 3-reed button box I have my eyes on. I had planned to set up outside down at St. Lawrence Market, but yesterday, it was raining cats & dogs out there. Inside was an alternative, but there was a lot of competition, a couple violinists, a small band, a kid with a guitar, an old fellow with a harmonica and spoons. Still I found a spot, even if it wasn't a good one, and played for about an hour and a half. It was a lot of fun, and I started off the new button-box fund. Kids are really transfixed - they look at you wide-eyed. Hopefully next time, I'll have some better weather, and can play outside.
