? and the Mysterians

I was listening to a cover version of 96 Tears the other day, on the Texas Tornados Live at Antones CD, and I was wondering about the original band, ? and the Mysterians. Here is an excellent article....

Excellent article. But I should correct one thing. They were never punk-rock in the MC5 tradition. They were much more blues based rock and roll. Somewhere between Seger and Grand Funk. Saw these guys at 10 times between 67 and 69.
