Nashville Skyline

Last year, at the end of September, we spent a week on a roadtrip to Memphis and back up to Toronto (via Chicago). This year, same time, we're going to drive to Nashville. Any bloggers out there have suggestions of interesting places to stop, things to see, food to eat, music to hear, etc. etc. between Toronto and Nashville? All suggestions appreciated.
