Mushrooms and the Illuminati

There appears to be a conspiracy in my local grocery stores to force me to buy pre-packaged, and worse yet, pre-sliced mushrooms. At least two grocery stores in my area have stopped selling 'loose' mushrooms completely, they are that sure that we want to buy plastic and styrofoam packaging with our mushrooms and even that we want our mushrooms enclosed in plastic. I'm taking the trouble to talk to these back-sliding produce managers. "I'm taking my business to another store", I say. I demand loose mushrooms. "No", they say, "We're doing quite well with our packaged mushroom program". Grrrrrrrrrrr
