Andrew Carriere

There are a number of videos of Andrew Carriere posted on YouTube by gumbomubbha. I really like the way Mr. Carriere plays! I understand he's part of the "Bay area" west coast Zydeco and Cajun music scene.

Mr. Anchovy, I forgot to tell you. During my recent vacation, I came across an accordian player/busker in the halls of Picaddilly station (I think that was the right stn?). Unfortunately no pics as I was rushing to the trains but the two times I saw him and heard him play (he's quite talented), I thought of you!

I liked the Cherokee Waltz very much, but not understanding the dialect, I am very curious how the piece got that name! Oh, I am so close to the heart of Zydeco, Cajun land and I haven't been to anything for too long - summer is coming, I want for some festivals and music and crawfish and . . .

in re: body builders - I think perhaps they are artists as well, only their bodies are their canvases - they create what they see in their head using exercise, diet, discipline - there are aspects of that I would very much like to have.

Its pretty amazing to know how much is going on in this world where people cluster around some "art" form, eh?

Which reminds me, I came across this artist - busker on line, thought, though very different, he was quite compelling - and I was fascinated by what he is creating -

By the way, that is also a very cool photo/digital piece at the top of your page - I love the chair!
