Lake Charles
We used to drive through Lafayette and Baton Rouge, in a yellow El Camino listenin to Howlin Wolf.
I love that lyric. This song always gives me shivers.
This is Lucinda Williams, of course.

Lucinda has got to have one of the most evocative voices there is, doesn't she?
In particular, Car Wheels on a Gravel Road is a brilliant album. The songs are all top rate, and she has great players working with her as well. I agree that her voice is very evocative, and as well, she really has a great sense of how to attack a song.
I love Car Wheels on a Gravel Road, which perplexes a few people I know.
gotta love Lucinda!
