What you pay?
We were out in front of the house this afternoon, chatting with our electrician, when an older couple walked by. They stopped in front of us and said hello. You like this house? What you pay? It's too much what it was listed for. Why everybody want to come here now? We been here 41 years, now everybody want to come here. Nothing special here. Now one month later, 100,000 less than you pay. Ha.
Thanks, and have a nice day.

Good lord.
I love how my mother in law knows what is best for you. That WAS my mother in law who was talking to you, wasn't it?
Welcome to the neighbourhood!
I once had a nosy neighbour demand to know what I sold my house for. Crazy.
I just love it when others have your best interest at heart...it's such a good feeling!!
A woman who makes movies decided to do a "doc" about the Logan Square and Humbolt park areas of Chicago...she gave up because everyone thought she was a "gentrifier" in disguise!
Weird. I don't even understand it. Were they trying to sell you their house?
Candy, I think they were just trying to tell us how stupid we were to move into their beautiful neighbourhood.
