Glimpse into the future

Here's a glimpse at the future location of Anchovy World Headquarters. We were able to visit today, to take some measurements and plan some work that has to be done early on.

It looks like the 'burbs! Nice and shady, though, and I love the trees! You can never go wrong with lots of nice trees.

This is huge! I'm so excited for you. And jealous of that yard.

WC, it's in an area called Longbranch, which is along the lake on the west side. A century ago, it was a cottage area for residents of Toronto. There was a big resort there which burned down finally in the 50s. Even today, some of the streets have a cottage-like feel. It's quite a different neighbourhood from the one we've been living in.

It's gorgeous! Look at the size of the yard. You are so lucky.

What a great looking place! Huge lot - no wonder you have plans for a great new garden. Wishing you all the best in your new home.

Got a lawnmower yet?

It looks very nice indeed.

The first thing I did at our current location was to turn the lawn into perrenial gardens. I imagine bit by bit I'll reduce the lawn at the new place, but we'll have to live there for a while before making those decisions

You bet! Great music, too. Paul James Band rocked the Lakeshore Mardi Gras earlier this month with Downchild and Glass Tiger @ Sam Smith Park. Great time!

It looks lovely. Looks like you'll have a very nice yard which means the cats will most likely approve.
