I've had a complaint

Salvelinas Fontinalis, my brother the trout, has complained that in my post on The Wreck of the Old 97, I failed to post what he has called the "only version worth listening to", by Hank Snow. I feel I have to make amends, so here it is.

Clarence Eugene Hank Snow was born on May 9th, 1914 in the sleepy fishing village of Brooklyn, Queens County, on Nova Scotia's beautiful South Shore

Best not encourage me on train songs. Wabash Cannonball is just a click away...

Always dangerous territory, wading into train songs. They are the gateway. Next thing you know, it'll be ship songs.

Har mateys, I love ship songs. Was that a carefully cloaked request, Barbara? Hehehe...
