Famous People Players and the Man of the Year

Tonight we were at Famous People Players for a special show as they honoured Salah Bachir as "Man of the Year". This was a fundraiser for their Exceptional Achievement Centre which will be located in Ancaster. For those who don't know about Famous People Players, they are a black-light puppet theatre company who run a dinner theatre where almost everything is done by people with disabilities, from cooking and serving to performing.

Many Torontonians know Salah Bachir, or know of him. He is one of the most generous people I've ever met, and has helped so many organizations in this city with donations and fund-raising help. I was not at all surprised when I heard Famous People Players were naming him Man of the Year, a well-deserved honour.

Meanwhile back at Headquarters, the lions were very much out of sort today, as my nephew was over installing a new furnace. When I got home from work, before heading down to meet Tuffy P at Famous People Players, there was not a cat in sight. They were all hidden somewhere or another, but if you were there, the only evidence of cats around were the litter boxes, and yes I know, it's time to change the litter again. When we pulled in tonight after the show, they were a little more settled. They won't be happy though when they see my nephew pull up again tomorrow.
