Poetry As Insurgent Art

Lawrence Ferligetti is a famous BEAT poet. His paintings cause quite a stir also! I just finished reading Pictures of the Gone World and Poetry As An Insurgent Art. Both books are a little different than his most famous A Coney Island of the Mind. Pictures of the Gone World is filled with direct, yet highly imaginative material. Poetry as Insurgent Art is made up of two manifestos and finished off with some fine material.
