One more day for the postcard challenge....
Usually there are many responses to the postcard challenge, but I guess this one is just too tough for you. One more day. There has been just one guess so far - and I really liked it even if it was incorrect. I guess I have to give a clue.
Here are more quotes by the individual I'm looking for:
Bach and Beethoven, all of them, they had to write something to please the upper structure, those with money and power.
But recently I began to feel that maybe I wouldn't be able to do what I want to do and need to do with American musicians, who are imprisoned behind these bars; music's got these bars and measures you know.
I am a musician, but I'm another type of musician.
Music is a language, you see, a universal language.
What I'm dealing with is so vast and great that it can't be called the truth. It's above the truth.
for those who missed the original post, here it is

Hey...I'm working on this...my first guess was Miles Davis...but I am still thinking on this before I come up with an answer...been distracted too so i hope I don't lose track of time.
I know you are experimenting with your blog look...so far sorry...I find the text really hard to read...
Is it better now? I had shrunk the font, looking for a certain balance, but I guess I got carried away.
I'm back after a while - a record album or CD cover? Or are we supposed to guess who the musicians are? Your CD cover?
Gardenia, click the link to the original post. There is a set of questions based on a postcard.
Oh yes...muchbetter...I liked the smaller font in theory..but it just seemed to disappear...more like the color was too pale...but this is lovely...
I'm working on something. I just have to put all the pieces together to come up with the answers.
