Google, Yahoo, Microsoft
Who's running the world this week?
There appears to be quite a power-struggle afoot, as Microsoft tries to gobble up Yahoo. The goal is control over the internet advertising market. It wasn't all that long ago that Blogger wasn't part of Google and Flikr wasn't part of Yahoo. We seem to be shifting from innovation from smaller companies to control by the giants.
What are the alternatives today if you don't want to play with the giants? Obviously, this blog is still on Blogger, and the biggest reason for that is that I see my blog entries quickly become search targets, and I'm presuming this is because I'm dealing with Google.
I'd be interested to know about experiences you may have had using other services for blogging. How is search-ability?...reliability?

I like the one I'm on. Blogspot drove me nuts, so did some others. I'm not stupid but for some, you need a PhD in nucleur physics...
p.s. BOO Microsoft!
Blue, I quite like the way your blog looks, but I tried to make a comment there the other day and I couldn't manage to get it accepted...maybe I was doing something wrong.
