Since mister anchovy's readers clearly cannot be fooled on location, today's question is this: what the heck is going on in this photo?

Anonymous said...: Person being put in iron lung [I saw similar pictures at West Park Health Care Centre when I volunteered there. It used to be the old Toronto Sanitarium for tb. I am puzzled though because the head is covered so now I'm starting to think it's something else....
