They are really doing a number on Lansdowne eh?
All this time, and all they've managed to do is dig up the street. What burns me is that the mayor keeps saying we have to cut services or endure raised taxes. At the same time, he's spending money digging up Lansdowne...why?
Thank you for the walk-about photos. I really do enjoy them. It's too bad it takes them so long to repave the street. I'll tell you, the government here in Singapore has those kinds of jobs done in no-time-flat! It's amazing!
Nice pics - I like the trumpet vine - what kind of love affair do the City leaders have for destruction (trees, streets)?
That hurts to see Lansdowne like that.
The Psychic place! It's just around the corner from where we use to live. I do miss our home there and our garden. I was never really sure what was going on in the Psychic place.
SP it seems to me that this particular psychic place was in the news a couple years ago. My memory is a bit fuzzy here, but it seems to me some guy robbed a bank and killed somebody there, then went to the psychic and admitted he did it, and was reported. It could be that I'm mistaken and it was a different psychic in the area, but I seem to recall reading about it, then driving past not long after.
