I think there's a golf course in that area that may come close to looking like that (with shorter greens of course). If the course didn't use chemicals to treat its fairways and greens then in just might be considered pastoral.
That looks like its inviting a painting session! Isn't it sad what is happening to our planet - I know we have to accept change, but accepting it for the worse is tough.
There is water all around us, rivers, bayous, gulf - and we are being warned not to eat the fish from at least half of these areas. This time from PCB's - which have supposedly been banned for a long, long, time.

Are you from Toronto, mr anchovy? Or you live there now?
I lived there for ten years (I'm originally from Winterpeg).
Now I live in Seville, Spain.
It's just always curious and nice to meet other fellow Canadians.
Mme Metro was a TO'nian for a few years. Nag on the Lake is now, I believe.
And via the latter we get this collection of TO photos taken thirty years apart.
Wow, those are fabulous! And a big raspberry to those who like to say TO is just a big ugly money town.
Thanks, Metro, et al.
Azahar, yes I'm from Toronto.
Metro, nice photo set. thanks
Nice image. Where did you get the old postacards? How many do you have?
