Bob Snider at Hugh's Room

If you haven't heard Bob Snider, it is a little difficult to describe his work. Words that come to mind include: insightful, goofy, tender, sparkling.... He is really a fantastic songwriter - I can't think of anyone I might compare him to. I had only seen him live once before, a number of years ago, opening for Townes van Zandt at the Bathurst St. Theatre here in Toronto - but I know many of his songs from a couple cds I've found along the way.

The show at Hugh's Room was a CD and book release party. His new cd is called A Maze in Greys and his new book is called On Performing. A delightful night with good music and good friends.
