The Prestige

The Prestige is a very clever, well-acted, well-made film, by Christopher Nolan, who also direceted Batman Begins, Memento and Following among others.

Magic. 4 Salties. Nuff said. Go see this one.

I believe I gave The Last King of Scotland an excellent review as well, and Casino Royale too. Overall, I think my movie reviews are generous. By the way, David Bowie plays Nikola Tesla in The Prestige!

Inland Empire...isn't that by that guy who did The Straight Story? I liked that one a lot.

Baker: in King of Scotland, there is a scene where the Idi Amin character plays a button accordion. Now I'm not saying that's the best scene in the film.....I'm just saying.....

I loved Memento. I half enjoyed reading the screenplay for Following (never saw the flick). I hated that remake he did with Al Pacino and Robin Williams. Batman Begins bored me. I shall approach The Prestige with caution...
