Voodoo

Well, Tuffy P loaded us up with Hallowe'en decorations today, so in the spirit of that upcoming dark festival I offer up this little ditty recorded by the late great Screamin Jay Hawkins, called Voodoo. This is one of my fave Hawkins cuts. Enjoy, and if you like it, please support your local weird-ass dead R&B singer.

Oh, it's too late at night to play this, I'll have to wait till the morning. HI!!! I started recording the new Top Chef! Pass the old one on to Jill and Scott okay...because I gave them the ones you had earlier...

It looks like its going to be another exciting season!

My dentist is from Mexico and she put out the halloween decorations in her office on October 1st.

I have been invited to a pumpkin decorating party next weekend, so I've been searching and printing out templates. I'm torn between the pattern for Steve Irwin, crocodile hunter and a pattern of John Wesely, founder of the methodist movement. Whatodo, whatodo.

Madcap and funny!

Remember me asking you about the Turkey Leg song - I found it! There are a couple versions - But the one I downloaded is "Turkey Leg Woman" by Dr. Ross. If you can find it,you'll have a good giggle.

I know a song about a Chicken Head Man, by T-Model Ford, a great bluesman. When you have you some chicken, save me the chicken head. You can see T-Model performing this tune here.

I saw Screaming Jay perform once in the 80's (somewhere in Yorkville). He was damn handsome and hilarious too. Sadly the Chicken Hawks weren't performing with him. (you can't get away with that name anymore)
