guys with flags
Driving back from a little trout stream tonight, I knew Portugal must have defeated Angola in World Cup play, because there were plenty of characters out honking horns and waving flags and wearing flags - in the hood tonight. The World Cup party is a big thing in these parts.....

I'm rooting for Mexico. It's pretty quiet around here, although if Mexico wins anything I imagine it will be crazy.
Oh Mexico did win their game, but it was quiet around here. Maybe I had the music blaring.
today it was Italian guys with flags and a lot of testosterone driving around here.....
...and tonight, I could hear the car horns on St. Clair from my porch after a lack-luster Brazil edged the Croats. I didn't see the game, but I heard most of it on XM radio. The announcers were not amused by the performance of one Renaldo, who, they suggested, was hardly involved in the game at all.
