The Monks
Check out this groovy film clip of The Monks posted on Squeezytunes. It's all about the organ, baby.
This has been a good month for video clips here on the good ol' inner-nets. Squeeze my Lemon just posted a fantastic film of Bukka White. In spite of the dancers groovin away in front of Mr. White, what a great opportunity to hear this great blues master in action.

Those are incredible clips. I love the Bukka White one, of course I was laughing because it was fun to watch the camera operator try to deal with filming in a bar. People dancing, talking, walking. They finally figured out where to stand near the end of the song. Been there. It was great to see that clip also because having gone to many blues shows it is good to see how it used to be done, and done right. One thing I can't stand about going to see bands in certain venues is when everyone just sits there and you get "shhed" if you talk. I find this especially in blues and jazz performances. I don't like going because of that. Everyone sitting stiff, no drink service as if it was classical music. If I want to go to the opera, I'll go to the opera. I loved seeing people socializing and having fun while the music was playing. (I had to "blog this" to Squeezytunes such great film clips. Thanks Mr.A!!!
Is this the "Drugs in my pocket and don't know what to do with it" band?
Remember the cover to that album?
The nun with the pack of cigarettes in her sexy stockings?
