A rough week for jazz and blues

Al Casey, known for his guitar-work with Fats Waller died Sunday at age 89. Also, dead at 78 is blues guitar-man R.L. Burnside

I'm a big Burnside fan and have spent the last couple of evenings swilling a beer and listening to his music - a terrible loss

Burnside was an inspired player. Along with a few others, like T-Model Ford, he kicked a lot of life into that vererable genre.
