Humans leading cause of death for grizzlies: study

This shouldn't surprise anyone. These animals don't do well in close proximity to humans. They need lots of high country and no interference. It hadn't occurred to me, though it should have, that the diet of grizzlies has changed around human settlement - they eat garbage. No different, I suppose, than the gulls who panhandle in fastfood parking lots, rather than fishing. I can't believe there are people talking about continuing to hunt grizzlies in Alberta. With this kind of thinking, soon we won't have these bears on the planet any more.
