raving lunacy: Cell phone madness

Who do they talk to? I see couples walking down the street, each talking to someone else on their cellphone. How many drivers do you see who aren't satisfied with eating, drinking coffee, smoking, reading the paper while driving....they have to talk on the phone too. I just don't have that many friends. Maybe they are all calling back telemarketers? I can't figure it out.
