portrait

portrait, originally uploaded by mister anchovy.

This is a picture of my late father, worked up in Painter. I was thinking about him this morning, and I had this picture up on my wall, so I thought it was time to share it.

I really like this pic.

My dad has been gone since 1989, and never a day goes by that I don't think of him. My children are the same way.

thanks Mark. My father was a good man. He taught me to love nature - I can recall the first time he took me to a trout stream, near Sundridge, Ontario. I caught what to me was a huge brook trout. He taught me to be tolerant and respectful, and to not be afraid to take a few risks along the way. He was also an extraordinary storyteller, and I treasure the stories he gave me.
