NHL considers bigger nets
These jokers can't even manage to put on a show. Why are they messing around with net size? Just another reason why it's ok for the NHL to call it quits and let a new upstart league set up a half dozen or so teams....

I can't agree with you more! And I have a flash for those munckin brains running the NHL. If they really want to improve the league, they ought to take a real hard look at college hockey. One of the good things about the lockout was that I went to a lot more than my usual 3 college games a year. About the third game in, I realized how much I enjoyed the fast pace of college hockey. Do away with the center red line, actually enforce obstructon rules, and see how much the game improves!
College hockey is great . Doing away with the red line is exactly what is needed. I think it would also make the game much more interesting if the net was twice the size. It would make it high scoring like a basketball game. No going back to center ice each time just drop the puck behind the net and let the d-Man take it up ice.
