thoughts on Easter bunnies, from Zydeco Fish

I've never cooked rabbit. However, I will confess to using the hair from the feet of snowshoe hares to tie trout flies. It is the standard wing material for a fly called a Usual, popularized by Frances Betters on the Au Sauble River, in New York.

Hey, is this a new setup? I like it.

I've eaten bunny, by the way. A friend of mine found the entire skull in her bunny entree and I'm not sure if I will ever eat bunny again.

The best way to cook rabbit is the traditional German way for hasenpheffer. It comes out like beef stew with a heavy red wine background . I have a neighbor who raises meat rabbits and eats them all the time.
