The Globe and Mail: Can a plucky minnow save the forests of Vaughan?

For those who aren't from these parts, Vaughan, or "Sprawl City", as Barber calls it, is the ugly, sprawling belt of uncontrolled development, eating up farms and forests surrounding Toronto at an alarming rate.
