Yes. Most Russian players play a "Bayan" accordion, which is a chromatic button accordion (buttons on the melody and bass/chord side). There are two systems, which are mirror-image opposites of one another, known as B - Griff (the Russian system) and C - Griff (popular in Finland, France, and other places). I can play a little C - Griff, but I don't really work at it. The 3 row Hohner button box and the piano accordion keep me off the streets.
