Concert Review - Tommy Makem with Evans and Doherty
The picture here is of Evans and Doherty. They opened the show for Tommy Makem tonight and backed him for his performance. These guys are first rate musicians, who live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After hearing their set tonight, I would go see them anytime they came to town.
Tommy Makem is in fine form. His voice and his wit are in great shape. Mr. Makem commands the stage with stories and songs and makes you feel like you've known him all your life. He had the full house at Hugh's room singing along to just about every song.
Mrs. Anchovy says this show gets top rating - a full can of anchovies.
